ClearGift is a finance-automation project designed to capture donation and payment data through Open Banking and support the reconciliation workflow required for Gift Aid administration.
Manual reconciliation becomes time-consuming as donation volume grows, particularly when teams need to connect bank activity with donor information and Gift Aid records.
Kydos connected the data flow using TrueLayer Open Banking, Make and ChurchSuite-oriented processes, with reconciliation logic designed around the Gift Aid administration workflow.
The project is about reducing repetitive matching, not replacing the organisation's responsibility for accurate Gift Aid declarations and claims.
Open Banking provides transaction data from the authorised source.
Workflow logic connects available payment context with donor records.
Exceptions and uncertain matches remain visible rather than being silently forced.
The resulting record supports the organisation's Gift Aid administration process.
